Art news: U.S. Bluegrass Music Band “Crow and the Canyon” to Visit Ethiopia
Addis Abeba, March 09/2018 – The U.S. Embassy in Addis Abeba has finalized preparations to bring the American music band “Crow and Canyon,” to perform in Ethiopia.
The program is “part of the U.S. Embassy’s ongoing efforts to engage Ethiopian audiences through music and create opportunities for music lovers to interact directly with American musicians, “Crow and Canyon,”, the embassy said in a statement.
Accordingly, “Crow and Canyon,” who perform the music genre “with deep American roots bluegrass”, will visit Ethiopia from March 12-21, 2018, the embassy said.
Members of “Crow and the Canyon” are expected to brief the local press on their visit to Addis and other regional cities on March 12 at Yared Music School. “The visit is sponsored by the Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs.
