Emirates announces new sets of discount for Ethiopian travelers

Emirates, a global connector of people and places, is offering Ethiopian travellers up to 25% discount on Business Class and Economy Class fares to selected and exciting destinations around the world.
The special fares will apply when booked between October 13th and October 21st 2014 for travel period starting October 13th 2014 until March 31st, 2015.


A return Economy Class ticket form Addis Ababa to Dubai starts from as little as $558. Other destinations include Bangkok from $788, Guangzhou from $728, Beijing from $704, Mumbai from $537, Washington DC from $1080, Chicago from $1083, Frankfurt from $577, London from $686, and Rome from $542.
Emirates is also offering discounted Business Class return fares from $1820 to Bangkok, $2000 to Guangzhou, $2493 to Beijing, $1315 to Mumbai, $3180 to Washington DC, $3183 to Chicago, $1870 to London, and $1561 to Rome.
Announcing the new promotional fares, Emirates Country Manager for Ethiopia Temima Kemal said: “Emirates is all about offering value for money. This promotion offers even greater value, and the opportunity to travel on Emirates to one of a number of destinations in its global network, with just one convenient and comfortable stop in Dubai. What’s more, most of the destinations included in this offer, such as Beijing, London, Bangkok, Mumbai, Frankfurt, and Rome are serviced by Emirates’ iconic A380 aircraft, which offers a unique travel experience.

All the above fares are inclusive of taxes, quoted on a return basis, with a minimum stay of three days and a maximum stay of one month. Blackout dates from 11-30 October 2014 apply for travel to Hong Kong and Guangzhou. Also blackout dates from 10th, December 2014 to 15th January 2015 apply to all destinations.
In addition to the value fares Emirates Customers on board the aircraft can experience Emirates’ famous hospitality and service from its multi-national cabin crew, enjoy more than 1600 channels of on-demand audio and visual entertainment on its ice entertainment system, gourmet cuisine and generous baggage allowances. Economy Class customers get 30 kgs and 40kg (we give 40 kgs to select destinations like Dubai, Bangkok, etc), Business Class get 40 kgs and First Class customers 50kgs.
Emirates established operations in Ethiopia in March 2006. Currently, the airline flies daily from Bole International Airport to Dubai, and onward to more than 140 destinations in 81 countries across six continents, and it’s the world’s largest operator of Boeing 777 and A380 aircraft.
EK 723 departs Dubai International Airport every day at 1030hrs and arrives at the Bole International Airport at 1330hrs. The return flight, EK 724, leaves Bole International Airport at 1610hrs and lands in Dubai at 2120hrs.
