Ethiopian missing maid found dead on rooftop

An Ethiopian housemaid who vanished from her employer’s home in Saudi Arabia five days ago was found dead on the rooftop of the house in the oil-rich Gulf Kingdom.

A medical examination of the decomposed body identified the maid and a preliminary report showed she had committed a suicide.

“Police said they would continue the investigation to determine if criminal act was behind the maid’s death,” Okaz daily said in a report from the eastern province.
