Business: Premium coffee brand Boss Brew launches light medium roasted Sidama Coffee
Addis Abeba – U.S. based premium coffee brand, Boss Brew Coffee LLC, launched light medium roasted small batch premium Sidama Coffee from Ethiopia, bringing the company’s collection to 43 varieties.
Small-batch coffee is highly sought after by coffee enthusiasts as it offers a higher level of quality and freshness than mass-produced coffee. Boss Brew Coffee’s approach allows for greater control over the roasting process. “Each batch of Ethiopia Natural is carefully crafted to bring out the unique flavors of the beans,” the company said in a press dispatch.
Ethiopia Natural is sourced from smallholder farmers, and the beans are grown in the Sidama Regional State, an area known for its optimal growing conditions, including high altitude and fertile soil. The altitude of 1700-1900 meters ensures slow and even maturation of the coffee cherries, resulting in a well-balanced and complex flavor profile.
“Ethiopia Natural has a medium light roast and features notes of caramel and milk chocolate, making it suitable for those who enjoy a sweet and smooth taste. The beans are grown naturally without the use of any chemicals or pesticides, and dried on raised beds to ensure that the beans are of the highest quality.”
Boss Brew Coffee LLC said purchasing Ethiopia Natural “supports smallholder farmers who use sustainable farming practices to grow and harvest coffee beans. Boss Brew Coffee is committed to supporting these farmers and their communities, ensuring that they receive a fair price for their hard work and dedication.”
Last week, The Weeknd and his record label XO collaborated with Blue Bottle Coffee to launch Blend, named after The Weeknd’s mother Samra, and “pays homage to his family’s heritage with a shared respect for Ethiopia and its coffee traditions.” AS
