Addis Abeba, December 14/2018 – The United Nations Development Program’s Administrator Achim Steiner will visit Ethiopia from 17 to 18 December, UNDP Ethiopia office said in a statement.
“During his visit, Mr. Steiner will meet with senior government officials, attend the commemoration of the 60th anniversary celebration of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA), and meet with key development partners, and the UN country team,” the statement said.
Mr. Steiner will also visit the Bole Lemi Industrial Park “where he will hold a dialogue with representatives of the business community.” He is also expected to engage with innovation hubs and local entrepreneurs.
At the end of his visit, Mr. Steiner will have “a brief encounter with the media.” AS
